Making your own envelopes is loads of fun – especially when you use fun and interesting paper. For a personal letter you can write the return address on the envelope flap. The sender’s name and return address should be in the upper left hand corner for an official or business letter. When using an envelope that is not standard size we suggest that you check with the post office if there will be an additional cost. The postage stamp is placed in the upper right hand corner. The recipient’s name and address should be written or printed in the middle center in the following order:

If you are going to write the address and not personalize the envelope online then we suggest that you address the envelope before you insert the contents so that you have a flat writing surface.
